• We recommend you agree in writing with all members (the property owners/ renters) the following: The rental dates, total cost of renting your property, including the property rental price, any relevant taxes if applicable, cleaning costs as well as any other charges. Payment methods and due dates should be clearly explained.
  • Request a signed rental agreement and review/ check it carefully.
  • All alterations, cancellations and refunds between members and travellers should be agreed verbally and in writing.
  • Request more information about the property including additional photos and the actual location.
  • Request further details on how to get to your selected property.
  • Sending money via Western Union or MoneyGram is not safe.
  • Contact the owner at least once by phone before confirming your booking.
If you are still concerned about a particular property, we suggest that you contact the owner directly, or search for a different property that meets your requirements.
