Normandy
The region is very popular with French and overseas buyers. It's rolling countryside, varied coastline and beautiful architecture make it very appealing. Famous for its apples, Camembert, cider and seafood, Normandy has plenty of culinary delights to offer. There are plenty of places to visit such as the ancient capital of Rouen on the river Seine, the D-Day beaches, the Bayeux tapestry and of course Mont St Michel.

The countryside is rolling and green. In places such as the Suisse Normande the scenery becomes more dramatic with deep valleys and gorges. The coastline is varied with both rocky outcrops and long sandy beaches dotted with beautiful fishing ports such as Honfleur. The area offers many activities from boating, water sports, walking, horse riding through to hunting & fishing.

The architecture in the region is extremely varied. You can find stone houses, columbage tudor style properties as well as majestic chateaux and country homes.

Situated in Northern France, the region is very accessible to the UK. The easiest access is by car using the many ferry ports on offer. These include Cherbourg, Caen, Le Havre and Dieppe. Many people also use the Channel Tunnel. The TGV also runs into Le Havre from Paris.
