About
Midi-Pyrenees
The Midi-Pyrenees hosts eight departments set in the heart of South West France. The region is vast and varied. From the Pyrenees to Gascony, to the Tarn gorges, the landscapes are diverse. This is one of France's most enticing and enchanting regions, the Midi-Pyrenees is rich in culture, history and natural heritage. Vineyards, sunflowers, rocky gorges, bastide villages and snow capped mountains are but a few of the sights to make the eyes sparkle.

The region has activities for everyone from hiking, to hang gliding, canoeing, fishing, hunting through to mountain pursuits including skiing.

The climate is appealing. Summers are hot and the winters are short with blue crisp sunny days.

Access is excellent. Toulouse is an international airport and also has TGV fast train connections. You can also use the airports of Rodez, Carcassonne and Pau.
