Languedoc-Roussillon
This is one of the most visited areas in the south of France. It is made up of five departments including the Pyrenees-Orientales, Aude, Herault, Gard and the Lozere. It is truly a fabulous part of France offering Mediterranean coast, hills and mountain ranges.

Snow capped peaks, glistening sunsets, vineyards, cyprus trees, Cathar castles and hilltop villages are just some of the magical sites the region has to offer. Uzes, Pezenas, Carcassonne and Ceret are a few of the most popular towns in the area.

With coast and countryside available, the activities on offer are endless. Skiing, water sports, hiking, hang gliding and wine tasting to name but a few.

The climate is hot and sunny. The area boasts 300 days of sunshine per annum.

Access is excellent. Airports include Perpignan, Girona, Carcassonne, Bezier, Montpellier and Nimes. The TGV fast train also runs into Montpellier, Narbonne and Perpignan. Motorway access is excellent as expected.
